Icing the sore spots and where to begin. I have learned over my years of training that heat and ice will become your best friend when the training gets tough and the muscles get sore. Heat and Ice are both great for sore spots after strenuous workout. I personally like to heat before I workout to loosen up the tight muscles and ice the sore spots after I workout. I use the ice in a way kinda like when a doctor numbs the skin before he works on you, I like to numb the sore spots when I’m done so I don’t have to hurt so bad through the evening.
